Paris-headquartered French energy major TOTAL reports it is partnering with Macquarie Green Investment Group to develop five floating offshore wind farms off the eastern and southern coasts of South Korea. The first 500-mw project is expected to begin construction by the end of 2023.

Total notes it holds a majority stake in a floating wind project off Wales and is increasing its renewable energy investments overall with the intent of holding stakes in at least 25 gigawatts of renewable generation capacity in 2025.
