The project will utilize 108 GE wind turbines with 300 megawatts of capacity. The power will be delivered into the Nebraska electrical grid. Project work is underway for completion in September 2020.
Chicago-based Invenergy developed the project. IEA will provide full engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of project roads, wind turbine foundations, the medium-voltage collection system and the power plant's substation.

The award is for construction of the Richland Wind Farm in Sac County in western Iowa.
Work on the 130-mw Richland project is slated to get underway to this month for completion and commissioning in September 2020.
