Preparatory construction work on the wind farm access roads began in October, 2021. The turbines are scheduled to be installed in mid-2023.
With the Stollsaterberget project, wpd and its Swedish national subsidiary wpd Scandinavia AB, is expanding in Swedish market following commissioning of the 17 WTGs, 71.4 MW Aldermyrberget project.
wpd develops and operates onshore and offshore wind farms and solar parks, and is actively engaged in 28 countries. The company has already realized wind energy projects with around 2,400 wind turbines and an output of 5,150 MW, and is planning further projects with a total of 12,300 MW onshore, 13,800 MW offshore and 1,650 MWp solar energy, according to the company website.

According to a release, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind will supply 36 units of its V164 turbine to be mounted on towers from CS Wind Taiwan. Formosa Heavy Industry and CTCI Machinery are providing monopile foundation structures that will be set with HLV seaway Yudin by Seaway Heavilift and Fred Olsen Windcarrier will install the turbines. The submarine cables are intended to be laid by CSBC Deme Wind Engineering (CDWE) and GE Taiwan will build an onshore-substation after the submarine cables have landed on the mainland. The project will incorporate 71 Siemens Gamesa 154-7.0 MW direct drive wind turbines installed on gravity-based foundations. When fully operational in 2023, the wind farm is expected to generate sufficient energy for as many as 770,000 people annually.

Project commissioning is scheduled in 2023. When fully online the project is expected to generate sufficient power for 770,000 people.
The project is estimated to cost €2 billion, the majority of which will be financed through non-recourse project level debt. The Fecamp offshore wind farm has a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) granted by the state in June 2018.

The 80 Siemens Gamesa turbine, 640 MW Yunlin Offshore Wind project project located eight kilometers off the coast of Yunlin County in western Taiwan, is being developed by Bremen, Germany-based WPD AG in two phases, with the first phase scheduled to be commissioned by 2020 and the second phase in 2021. WPD AG will own 73 pct of the project and the remaining 27 pct will be held by a Tokyo-based Sojitz Corp.-led consortium.
