The wind farm is ACEN and AMI's third renewable energy pproject in Vietnam, the first two being the 50-MW and 30-MW solar farms in Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak, respectively, which started operating in 2019. A battery energy storage system is planned for the facility in Khanh Hoa.
AMI Renewables is aiming to bring 1,000-MW of renewables capacity online by 2025, according to the release.

Hoa Thang Energy Joint Stock Company is a special-purpose vehicle of Vietnam's construction group Trading Construction Works Organization. The project is expected to come online in 2021 and will generate sufficient energy for roughly 240,000 Veitnam households.
