547 Energy Reports Aer Soleir Launch (Ind. Report)

Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, newly launched Aer Soleir will develop, build, own and operate a multi-gigawatt portfolio of onshore renewables throughout Europe. The new company is backed by Texas-based Quantum Energy Partners and green energy platform 547 Energy LLC.

Aer Soleir aims to "develop and build best-in-class, large-scale, energy transition projects that will provide material, long-lasting economic benefits to communities across Europe," according to the release. Znergy Acquires Quantum Energy LLC (Ind. Report, M&A)

Syracuse, Indiana-based energy efficient LED lighting products, lighting controls and energy management solutions specialist Znergy, Inc. is reporting acquisition of Quantum Energy, LLC. Under the terms of the agreement Znergy, Inc. will acquire the assets of Quantum Energy, LLC. without issuing any new Znergy shares.

Quantum Energy has an extensive B2B book of business across most U.S. business segments, including Fortune 500 companies, state municipalities, universities and companies in Canada. Znergy's commonsense cost reduction program enables customers to reduce energy consumption, lower maintenance costs and realize environmental benefits, according to the company website. EDP Renewables, ConnectGEN Complete First Solar Acquisition (M&A)

Following up on our 13th November report, First Solar reports EDP Renewables and Houston-headquartered ConnectGEN LLC's acquisition of three First Solar projects totaling 278MW AC in the US has been completed . The projects include the 154MWAC Sun Streams 1 project in Maricopa County, AZ, the 20MWAC Windhub A project in Kern County, CA, and the 103MWAC Sunshine Valley project in Nye County, Nevada.

EDP Renewables North America commissioned its first two solar parks in California in January 2015, subsequently adding three solar parks in South Carolina to its operational portfolio.

Houston-headquartered ConnectGen develops renewable energy and energy storage projects across North America.
