The RENeW Nexus initative is supported by Power Ledger, Curtin University, Murdoch University, Synergy, Landcorp, Western Power, the City of Fremantle, and the Australian Government through the Smart Cities and Suburbs Program.
Program participants will receive a WiFi metering device to remotely track data of both production and consumption of energy and water.
The collated data will be analyzed to find the best way to achieve an interconnected infrastructure of future smart cities that are able to utilize distributed renewable energy and alternative water systems.
