ENGIE Zero offers a one-stop-shop for local authorities, housing associations and registered providers to decentralise, digitalise, decarbonise and increase home energy efficiency. The €2.4 billion, 62-turbine project is expected to generate sufficient power for 835,000 people and avoid 100,000 tpy of CO2 emissions.
An Eiffage Metal and Engie Solutions JV will be in charge of the engineering and construction of the project's substation foundation and topside that houses the transformers and electrical equipment. ENGIE Solutions will carry out final assembly work and commissioning tests.
Fabrication work will be carried out by Eiffage in Belgium and Poland with a scheduled completion date early in 2022.
Over the next four years, Iberdrola notes it plans to invest up to €4 billion in offshore wind over the next four years. The company presently has operating facilities in the Irish Sea, in German waters of the Baltic and in the North Sea. The tender is being held under the framework of the Zambian REFiT Strategy, an initiative developed with the support of German development bank, KFW.

The projects, totaling 10 MW of AC solar and 15 MW/30 MWh of energy storage, are estimated to cost $31 million and save $4 million annually through peak load reduction.
The storage units, which are being developed by NextEra Energy, will supply energy to 7,000 area homes. The solar plants will be built by French energy firm Engie. Connexus has a 25-year agreement with Engie and a 25-year storage commitment with NextEra.
Connexus Energy is the Badger State's largest electric cooperative providing electricity and related products to more than 130,000 member residents and businesses in portions of Anoka, Chisago, Hennepin, Isanti, Ramsey, Sherburne, and Washington counties.

IWVWD's energy program includes the installation of a total of 2.08 MW of ground-mounted solar PV projects across five water well sites and a solar carport system at the District Office which has also been refitted with LED lighting and high efficiency HVAC units.
IWVWD financed the project through the Renewable Energy Self-Generation Bill Credit Transfer Program (RES-BCT), which allows local government entities with eligible renewable generating facilities to send energy to the grid and receive generation credits for other benefiting accounts within the District.

The new Engie Lab Brasil, which is expected to open before the year end, will be similar to the company's research facility in Chile.
ENGIE is Brazil's largest private-sector electricity producer, operating 10,290 MW in installed capacity from 32 plants nationwide, equivalent to 6 pct of the country's capacity. Ninety percent of the Group's Brazilian installed capacity comes from clean, renewable sources with low greenhouse gas emissions, a position that is being reinforced with the construction of new wind farms in the Brazilian Northeast. ENGIE is currently building one of Brazil's biggest hydro plants, the Jirau hydropower plant (3,750 MW) under commissioning on the Madeira river, in the state of Rondonia.

Siemens Gamesa will supply, transport, install and maintain 11 of its SWT-3.2-113 turbines (35.2 MW) for Innovent's Eplessier project in Hauts de France. The company will deliver another 11 SWT-3.2-113 turbines for the ENGIE Green's Les Monts projects in the Grand Est region.
Siemens Gamesa will also supply eight SG 2.1-114 turbines with a 16 year service agreement for a 16 MW project in Burgundy and four G97-2.0 MW turbines with a 15-year service contract for an 8 MW project in Western France. The company will also supply another five G97-2.0 MW turbines to an undisclosed customer for a 10 MW wind farm located in Western France.
