Cleanergy's GasBox waste-to-energy system is installed in a modular container and converts methane gas into electricity. The GasBox is an autonomous and flexible Stirling Engine unit incorporated with a real-time power management system with remote access and optional grid functionality.
The firms will initially install 50MW capacity in 2018, while the remaining 150MW will be installed as a second step that includes energy storage.
