Svante, Technip Energies Partner on CC Tech. (Int'l. Report)
Svante, Technip Energies
Date: 2021-11-22
Technip Energies and Svante are reporting a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further develop Svante's solid sorbent carbon capture (CC) technology and provide integrated solutions from concept to project delivery. The partnership will explore opportunities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Russian Federation markets where Svante's technology would be selected by end clients for heavy industrial carbon capture projects -- cement and limestone, blue hydrogen, refineries, petrochemicals, steel, pulp and paper and others. The cooperation will be worldwide for blue hydrogen plants using Technip Energies' steam methane reformer (SMR) technology.

Svante's solid sorbent technology captures carbon directly from industrial post-combustion flue gases as a non-intrusive end-of-the-pipe solution to produce pipeline-grade carbon dioxide. Clean Energy Systems Raises $15Mn for Bioenergy, CCS (Ind. Report)
Clean Energy Systems
Date: 2021-10-04
In the Golden State, Rancho Cordova-based Clean Energy Systems (CES) reports it has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round led by Carbon Direct Capital Management to support a carbon-negative power project in Mendota, California.

CES is collaborating with Schlumberger New Energy, Chevron and Microsoft to develop a plant that will convert local agriculture waste biomass into a renewable synthesis gas that will be mixed with oxygen in a combustor to generate electricity. More than 99 pct of the carbon from the process is expected to be captured for permanent storage by injecting CO2 underground I )CCS) into nearby deep geological formations. CCV Targets Carbon Capture-as-a-Service Opportunities (Ind. Report)
Svante Inc, Cross River Infrastructure Partners LLC
Date: 2021-08-11
Vancouver-based Svante Inc., Cross River Infrastructure Partners LLC and OTS Ltd, are reporting a commercial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that establishes Cross Carbon Ventures (CCV), an independent carbon capture development partnership aming to develop, build, own and operate carbon capture projects for carbon intensive North American industries -- cement, steelmaking, petroleum refining, large-scale hydrogen production and others -- seeking to decarbonise their operations.

CCV will leverage Svante's innovative technology to capture carbon directly from industrial post-combustion flue gases to produce pipeline-grade CO2 for safe transportation and storage.
