Bright to Build Aussie Biomethane-to-Grid Facility (Int'l.)

Netherlands-based Bright Biomethane reports it is joining forces with Brisbane,Australia-headquartered clean energy infrastructure and equipment provider Eneraque, to construct its first biogas upgrader in Australia for energy company Jemena at the Sydney Malabar wastewater treatment site.

Biogas from Sydney Water will be purified to biomethane for distribution through the grid. The project is expected to be completed in 2022 and is claimed to be Australia's first biomethane gas grid injection project. Bright BaaS Installation Underway in Antwerp (Int'l. Report)

In the Netherlands, Bright Biomethane reports construction its first "Bright BaaS" (Biomethane as a Service) conversion of biogas into green gas project for the Belgian water company Aquafin in Antwerp is underway and expected to be completed by the end of June, this year.

The facility will include a Bright PurePac Compact biogas upgrading unit that purifies water at the rate of 100 Nm3 per hour and can also produce biomethane. Upon delivery, Bright Biomethane will be responsible for the maintenance of the installation . Bright Biomethane Opens First North America Office (Ind. Report)

In the Netherlands, Enschede-headquartered membrane separation biogas to biomethane upgrading systems specialist Bright Biomethane is reporting the opening of its first North American office in NYC, NY.

Bright Biomethane North America will supply biogas upgrading systems with membrane separation technology for the refining of biogas from biomass to biomethane, and is working on the first five renewable natural gas (RNG) projects, all of which being realized in the Northeast of the U.S. (Source: Bright Biomethane, PR, Cdn.
