Statkraft Plans Berry Burn Wind Farm Expansion (Int'l. Report)
Norwegian state owned Statkraft AS reports it is seeking Scottish government approval to expand its 66.7-MW Berry Burn wind farm in Moray, Scotland to 104.5 MW with nine additional turbines totalling 37.8 MW.

Azelio Announces Masdar Renewable Energy Storage Project (Intl. Report)
Gothenburg, Sweden-headquartered global engineering firm Azelio AB reports along with Masdar and Khalifa University its will install a verification project in Abu Dhabi in Q3 2020 to evaluate Azelio’s renewable energy storage technology for inclusion in the Masdar product portfolio for current and future renewable energy projects.
The evaluation project will be set up and installed by ALEC Energy, the solar business division of ALEC Engineering and Contracting LLC, part of the Investment Corporation of Dubai.

The project's foundations, consisting of the turbines' monopiles, transition pieces and anode cages were fabricated by EEW SPC.
